Our story
Giddy Goose was birthed out of a desire to bring beauty into the world. As a little girl my grandmother was always showing me how to prune and propagate. I never realized these little lessons were planting a deep desire in my heart. A desire to put my hands in the soil. A desire to cultivate what was to come. A desire to see beauty enter the world through blooms.
Fortunately for me, the the family ties didn’t stop with my grandmother. My dad was also instilling in me the love of all things green and floral. His green thumb is unmatched in my eyes. I use to think this was just a gift he had, but time helped me to see that it was hard-work and discipline.
Together they created in me a desire to work hard and to create beautiful things. Flower farming and floristry seemed to be in my blood. So in in December of 2020, I started Giddy Goose Flower Co. The name came from my sweet German Shorthaired Pointer, Goose and his constant giddy outlook on life.
Planted and picked with care.
Each flower that makes its way into your story was selected with care before it was even planted. Whimsy is what we strive for with each creation. We hand select seeds that are then planted and cared for until they are picked for you and your specific occasion. Fresh, local, and regeneratively grown flowers are what you walk away with after shopping with Giddy Goose.
